day to day

I guess I just haven't been in the blogging mood lately. Not that life isn't good, just not feeling like expounding. I can, however, offer an update on the daily happenings.

Monday was a great day...as the kids were back in school. Why...well because we've had a lot of vacation lately so it was nice to get back in the groove. Maximus and I had a great Mom and Max day. Despite high gusty winds and snow we ventured out for our Cocoa and coffee. It was delicous, of course. We picked up a couple pairs of gloves for the wee ones as I noticed I could barely get their mittens on last week. Oops!! Guess those hands were growing more than I realized.
Max took a snooze, I got in a good couple mile run, then the boys got home. They did good too. Got the homework completed, Played some Wii, ate the dinner that Max helped cook. That boy is happiest when cooking! We cleaned up and the boys were quite nice to each other and spent some time in the play room doing cars.
Today Jack is working on the letter 'E' so we whipped up some eggs for breakfast and he made a book on the details of how he did it to share with his class. Then Max needed to make a book. He decided on the gingerbread man and made a ten page illustrated book about him and basically its the same stick man on each page doing something different. Very funny.
William is already off at school. Its band day so he went off lugging his trumpet and backpack to the bus this morning. The other boys are finishing lunch and will be headed to school shortly.
I will of course be back to tidy up more and keep things running smoothly.

Thats the most I've got. Nothing else of interest unless you count Max making a portrait of himself yesterday on his shorts. (thankfully in washable black). He still puts on shorts every single day no matter how cold it is. I have to bring him pants before we are to leave the house.

The dog stole one corndog but is behaving otherwise and has gone for 3 walks. Nothing new of consequence otherwise. Assuming anything thus far was of consequence.
